My reason for taking the course was that I was reading the 'Dreams & Details' book at the time and was very fascinated by the mindset of continuously working with transformations. And not least, I was enamored with the focus on the fact that you must constantly take care of your business right now, but at the same time, get it ready for the next 'season' to remain relevant in the market.
The program offered inspiring days about the Dreams & Details model, along with supporting materials that were easy to work with. The theoretical approach is strategic, but it is followed by something concrete and tangible, which is directly applicable. I like the link between talking both dreams and details: That you have big visions and dreams, but that you are also very insistent on having the details under control. The concept and thinking work well, and the many business cases we were presented with have been very inspiring regarding to the processes I am involved in.
The new perspectives and skills have clearly been of great importance to me as a leader responsible for a division and for the corporate strategy.
