THE NEW WAY OF BOARD WORK

The book “Reinvention from the Boardroom” was published in 2022, written by Jim Hagemann Snabe, Jesper Lok, and Mikael Trolle. The book challenges traditional board work and proposes a reinvention of the boardroom, with a much higher focus on creating sustainable organizations and ensuring their future relevance.

This masterclass invites the participants into a critical dialogue about the book’s central points and how quickly this change in the board’s future role should take place.

Jesper Lok

Jesper Lok is the Chair of Idonea and program facilitator.

He also holds a number of positions on boards, most notably as chair of Dagrofa, Inchcape, and Vestergaard Company A/S. He is also initiator of the “Network for Corporate Resilience” and brings previous executive experience as former CEO of e.g. DSB and Country Manager at Mærsk.

He is the co-author of “Reinvention from the Boardroom”.

Jim Hagemann Snabe

Jim Hagemann Snabe is the co-founder and board member of Idonea.

He is also the chairman of Siemens AG and Northvolt. Apart from that he is on the board of C3.ai and the WEF and has held a number of high-profile positions such as positions as Chair of A.P. Møller-Mærsk and Co-CEO of SAP.

He is the co-author of “Reinvention from the Boardroom” and “Dreams & Details”.

Mikael Trolle

Mikael Trolle is the co-founder and CEO of Idonea.

His background is from elite sports, as former Head Coach and Sports Director of the Danish men’s national volleyball team. With Idonea, he’s built a strong profile in leadership- and strategy consulting as well as board work.
