PROGRAM STUCTURE

The program takes place with 2 modules of 3 days each.

It is completed with contributions from Mikael Trolle and Jim Hagemann Snabe – the minds behind the model – together with Jesper Lok, who has helped to refine and expand the use of Dreams & Details in recent years.

In addition, the participants will meet a number of practitioners who use or have used the model to implement significant transformations. We get the opportunity to delve deeper into these examples and thus obtain a unique opportunity to learn from very current management challenges. What the individual examples have in common is that they demonstrate how it is possible to achieve significant results, significantly increase the degree and speed of innovation and rethink how to engage a very large part of the employees in creating impressive results.

From the start, Dreams & Details has drawn inspiration from business and the world of sport, and speakers and guests represent a great degree of diversity and different perspectives, which help to emphasize the fundamental application possibilities.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

The program is aimed at managers who are responsible for, or have a key role in setting, the strategic direction for the organisation. Typical job profiles are: CEO (20%), CXO (40%), VP (30%), others (10%).

THE PROGTRAM’S CONTENT

Module 1:
On the first module of the training, the participants get a thorough introduction to the Dreams and Details management model, with the aim of being able to mirror the course’s practical cases in the management model. Furthermore, in module 1 we deal specifically with transformation cases focused on the green transition of the energy sector, the transport industry as well as a broader perspective on macro-dynamics and market development. The module is rounded off with a discussion of the barriers and issues that typically cause changes to fail, and how these can best be handled.

Module 2:
Where module 1 is an attempt to understand company transformations, module 2 is aimed at a reflection of further cases from your own perspective, as well as how you as a manager can advantageously act in larger transformations. Concretely, we are looking back at the green transition, now no longer from the supply side, but from the production side of the energy sector. Furthermore, we look at the transformation of two of the country’s largest industrial giants from black to green organisations, as well as what personal leadership it requires.

On both modules, the participants will experience an interaction between teaching in the model, review of cases from the directors and managers who were responsible for the cases, as well as inspiration and perspective from prominent speakers.

Jim Hagemann Snabe is one of Denmark’s most sought-after business leaders and keynote speakers, as well as a book author. He is currently the Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Siemens and a Member of the World Economic Forum’s Board of Trustees. Previously, he built a top-tier leadership resume as the Co- CEO of SAP and the Chairman of the Board of Directors at A.P. Møller-Mærsk. Additionally, he is the co-author of “Dreams & Details” and “Tech for Life”.

Jim Hagemann SnabeChairman – Siemens AG

Mikael Trolle is a renowned keynote speaker, corporate advisor, and book author. He is the Co-Founder and CEO of IDONEA and the co-author of the book “Dreams & Details” that advocates for at new leadership model. As former CEO, sports director and national coach of the Danish Men’s National Volleyball team, as well as a mentor to some of today’s most notable sports managers, Mikael has had a profound impact on the development and success of international top sports like few others.

She helped the latter two organizations usher in a new era of commercial and sporting success. Additionally, she is a Board Member at ID IDENTITY, SPOT, and The Danish Foundation for Culture and Sports Facilities.

Jesper Lok is a recognized keynote speaker, advisor, and teacher of corporate strategy and board-related topics. He is chairman of the board of Dagrofa, Vestergaard Company, and Unicef Denmark, as well as a board member of several other companies. In addition, he has an extensive leadership career behind him, including as former CEO at DSB, Falck Emergency, and Svitzer, as well as country manager at A.P. Møller-Mærsk.
